Show Notes

intro

Welcome to the active variable, A show where we talk to young professionals in the healthcare field or students who are on their way into this industry. Our mission is to bring more attention to these careers whose job it is to take care of others, to be selfishly unselfish and to make this one at-bat of life the best that it can be.

Today, we are going to be having a conversation with Hubert Higueros, he is currently a student in an accredited athletic training program at the university of La Verne.

Before we get started with the show I want to take a moment to highlight something important that is going on in the athletic training world right now. The month of March is celebrated as the national athletic trainers month to spread awareness about our work. The 2020 slogan is “ATs Impact Health Care Through Action.” A lot of schools take this opportunity to get in touch with alumni, their community and fund-raise for their students. Here is a public service announcement straight from the national athletic trainers association: HAVE YOU BEEN SIDELINED WITH AN INJURY? MAKE SURE YOU CONSULT AN ATHLETIC TRAINER, WHO SPECIALIZES IN THE PREVENTION, ASSESSMENT, TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF INJURIES AND ILLNESSES. ATHLETIC TRAINERS IMPACT HEALTH CARE THROUGH ACTION. A REMINDER FROM THE NATIONAL ATHLETIC TRAINERS’ ASSOCIATION – NATA.ORG – DURING NATIONAL ATHLETIC TRAINING MONTH.

Now let’s get started with the show…
